    Quite possibly the best bakery in the bay! I came here on a Sunday around 11am and they were already sold out of some stuff. It was no issue though because there was still so much variety. I ordered a chocolate sourdough, kouign amann, and a latte to go with it. Everything tasted incredible and the chocolate sourdough was especially unique and delicious. The coffee is great as well, so this place has really got it all! It was definitely crowded since the spot isn't too large. There's outdoor seating in the back which is perfect for a nice day, but it was completely full when I went.

    Went to Backhaus on a weekday and there was no wait. I tried the pistachio apricot gallete which surprisingly wasn't too sweet as the apricots were slightly tart. The galette was flaky, but next time I come back I'll try something different because everything looked so good. They also have a really cute backyard garden area where you can sit and enjoy your pastries and coffee.

    Sometimes the line could get along. I am disappointed they do not have macha. The grape and brie pastry was very delicious.
